I live near Williams Lake, BC. I ordered online and since there are two locations near me I made sure to double check twice that I had the right location. I placed my order, put money on my card and paid with card. Spent about $16 for a dozen donuts. Went to town, no order, checked other location, no order. Called home and had my husband check my order in the browser window. He went into detail and it had sent the order to some location in Vancouver. I live over 8 hours drive from Vancouver. I went back to first location and just paid cash for whatever they had left available. Then went home and sent a message in their system about what happened. I got an email saying they were not set up to cancel or edit orders after placed but she put 100 points on my card. You know what 100 points gets me at Tim Hortons- nothing. I paid full price for 12 donuts, that the system redirected to a location nowhere near me, so I had no way of picking up and instead of putting the money back on the card, they give me 100 useless points. They literally stole my money and just said oops and did nothing about it. I replied to this first response asking again for the money to be returned to my card. They are no longer responding.
Tip for consumers:
I cannot speak to the phone app, but the Tim Hortons website messes up regularly and the company takes no responsibility for it and by forcing people to use their card, it is easier for them to refuse refunds for their mistakes. I will not be returning to them. One last thing. The points are a rip off. You only get 10 points for each $1.00 and you are lucky if you get a small cup of coffee for 400 points. It doesn't add up.
When I ordered medium cappuccino, the amount in the cup not even was half of the cup. I noticed Tim crew, they replied, that what they got from machine. Which is totally unfair. The price of a medium cappuccino is $3.49 but giving the amount half of cup is unacceptable. I checked in different store. All are same. I hope management will take necessary steps to give proper amount to the customer according to the price.
Thanks
Time and time again I go to Tim Hortons to the expectation of them being able to fulfill my order in a time and fashion, present hot food cooked, and coffee that is consistently the same every time. Time and time again I am sadly disappointed. I am for something they go that aren't toasted coffee that is not stirred or have the appropriate sugar in it, sandwiches that don't have the same amount to me in every sandwich that I purchase. Most importantly offers that never transpire into what they are advertised as. Time and time again Tim Hortons offers to have me contact their customer service to correct the problem but never ever do. It's your clear of

Location: 6036 glover road tim hortons. When i went to the drive through for my order their warm welcome at the drive through make my day. I just loved it and also their service and food is very good
980 Bowmanville Ave Tim Hortons around 5am I was approaching the drive through window when a man from between two cars stepped out in front of me. I Jammed on my brakes and stopped inches from him. He threw his arms up like it was intentional. When he got his coffee from the girl he then got back into his car and left. So here is my guestion to Tim Hortons. Why on earth do you think it is good business practice to have civilians stand in front of a vehicle in the drive through. On two other occasions I witnessed people having a serous, abusive conversation over the very same think I experienced. If you do hit a pedestrian at the Tim Hortons drive through window. Sue Tim Hortons for unsafe business practice. It's a drive through window not a walk through window.
