I booked a hotel on Traveluro for a cheaper rate. I later found this review and was worried about the legitemacy of the service. In the end, all worked out as expected, so it's not all bad.
In November 2023, I made a week reservation through Traveluro website & I realize the hotel was too far and could not make it to my reservation time. I've decided to cancel the reservation within the 24 hours time frame and ask for my refund. Unfortunately, this process was impossible. I've been trying for the past 3 months and nothing has been resolve. I also approximately $2,500. And Please be careful these Company only care about taking your money and they have the worst customer service.

Booked a hotel stay. Tried to cancel before free cancellation period is up. The "Manage booking" button doesn't give you "Cancel" option, instead, it gives only 3 options: Send confrimation; Send receipt; View price detail. So I called customer service that I found by googling. Guess what? Automatic disconnect after long hold. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and leave a record of my calling time which is before free-cancel deadline.

I cant make a call. I sat on hold just to be rejected 25 minutes later now I'm getting hung up on everytime. Why won't my card work on your site? My card is good. I have money. It says declined but when I reach out to my bank your site never even tried to run it. Is this a scam site?

Over two weeks, still no refund from a trip I made and cancelled, I have all the paperwork sowing the cancellation, confirming. Also web-site screwed up dates, type of room. No replies from emails,
Then when finally, over 30 minutes on hold, talked to someone, from who knows what country, and all I get was lip service, it's been processed on our end. Well two weeks ago and still not in my bank?
Please, do not book with this company. They will steal your money. When they need to refund you, they won't answer your calls & will lie that they are working on your refund when they finally answer an email. Scammers big time! They owe me almost $500 & have been trying to get it from them for the last 3 months. DON"T GIVE THE YOUR MONEY! I wish we had an option for negative 5 stars because that's what they deserve!

This site offers discounted rates for reservations that are not guaranteed even though you will be given a confirmation number. After you book your reservation they offer you insurance on your reservation another scam. After my reservation was cancelled by the hotel I found out I had no coverage for that and after several attempts at reaching someone, it looks like I just made a donation to traveluro and their parent company Expedia. Maybe these types of rip offs are why Expedia is able to offer the deals they do off the backs of people they schemed on Traveluro. Smh.

Made a hotel reservation on Traveluro
The website defaulted to the month of February and I accidentally made a booking for the wrong month.
I contacted traveleuro a minute after my booking was made and was told I can't be assisted!
Then I was advised my booking can be "amended " but I will have to basically pay for a new booking.
Worst booking policies ever! How does this make sense that nothing can be done a minute after my booking was confirmed!

Traveluro failed to pay the hotel for which I stayed so the hotel billed my card. I've been in a dispute for over 3 months now and fear I am just going to be the loser. Their customer service was a series of passed calls and no help in the end. Citi Credit Card cannot even make headway with them. Buyer beware.

This portal is a scam. Although they advertise their vouchers as total cost, destination hotels will add additional fees that are not covered by traveluro adding up to 30% of the total price. Nowhere in their website or terms is this mentioned. Avoid

We arrived at our reservation, waited 1 hour with a baby in the car. After traveling 11 hours to be told at security gate they don't have our confirmation. Called and was told to wait one hour did not get to go inside the building and now we are in need of a place to sleep for the night. We need a full cancellation refund due to unorganized and unprofessional service.
Traveluro site said electric vehicle charging was offered at the motel but when I arrived it was not. The Motel said they would approve a refund as long as I requested the refund through Traveluro. Unfortunately, it's impossible to reach Traveluro. I've called several times and either I'm on hold indefinitely or it goes straight to a busy signal.
Do not use this agency they're s a scam. They charged my account 262 dollars but never remitted to the hotel. I got to the hotel and they said they never remitted any money to them. I had to pay the hotel 251 dollars. Been trying to reach travel uro with no response. If you call their number it keeps dropping telling you all their operators are currently busy and they drop your call. Do not fall victim of this agency. I'm reporting them to by bank to dispute their charges.
Booked for same day stay, they didn't pay hotel, and the hotel charged my card then also. I should have looked at reviews first as it's evident there are many that have had this happen as well. I've called (multiple times) and been disconnected every time (after waiting 10-20 minutes on average); the online "contact us" doesn't reply to me either. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRAVELURO.
I booked a hotel with traveluro, but upon arriving, there was no reservation. I booked a room at the hotel anyway. After several phone calls. A majority of hang-ups. After being on hold, I finally got an agent, who was polite, but not very helpful. Traveluro sent the reservation to the wrong hotel and then claiming I went to the wrong hotel. Wasn't even in the same city! I would not trust Traveluro to book any hotels for me. Low price does not always equate to fair or equal service.
This site is trash got a non refundable room at travel lodge turlock and walked in it literally 10min and found it being infested with roaches called travulro asking for refund and they refused there thiefs don't use them there's plenty of sites that give u ur money back if it's cases like this no one should stay in a hotel that's infested gross

I booked a hotel in Las Vegas on their site using CA$ option. They issued a hotel voucher indicated that I needed to pay CA$228 directly to the hotel. When I checked-in, the hotel charged me US$225.44 instead. When I complained to Traveluro, they said that they could not control what the hotel charged. Clearly, Traveluro wrote incorrect currency on the hotel voucher. No wonder the hotel price was lower compare to other online travels. Their customer service was hopeless and did not help at all. I would not use them again and would recommend others to avoid using Traveluro.

We got to our room late. There was no air circulation and no working air conditioning. The doors were filthy and the room smelled stale. It was so hot we left at 0430. Called customer service to report the issue and because their terrible property manager told them there was no complaint, they are not compensating. Terrible customer service and do not recommend the hotel chain or traveluro.

Travelero essentially robbed me blind. I bought the hotel room for the wrong dates and requested. They corrected the dates. I got an email saying that they were unable to correct the date. And then somebody did correct the date long story short. I was informed I would not get a refund. And they would not honor the original date. That will tell her was booked. This company robbed me of $120. Steer clear do not ever do business with this company.
I need a proof of no show so that I can file a claim with the travel insurance I bought. I booked a hotel room but was unable to use it due to illness. I have called them 8 times and sat on hold for 15 mins only to be mysteriously disconnected. I think their call hold system automatically disconnects you after awhile. One time out of eight I did speak to someone on the phone. She was either very dense or fully aware of the scam they're running and said she needed a "supervisor" to get the proof of no show and that they'd send me an email within 2 hrs. They did send me an email that it does not even mention the proof of no show but instead mentions again that they have a "no cancellation policy." That's why I purchased the trip insurance! I'm beginning to think Traveluro AND XCover.com are apart of the same scam operation but I haven't investigated XCover yet.
Booked a hotel through this site. Hotel had bugs, mold and filth. Tried to call the number given for customer service and could not get through for 2 days. Finally got someone and they would do nothing for me, told me you can't cancel a reservation even if hotel is bug infested. Shared pictures and they did NOTHING.

This site is the worst. I had to rebook a hotel stay in Boston with my own money. Applied for refund still waiting for satisfaction after 6 months. STAY AWAY!?
This was a terrible experience. I bought a hotel room thinking it was for the night but Google have a date set to the following month instead of the month we were in. (February instead of January to be specific) I've called multiple times and explains what happened and why I didn't get the insurance because I thought it was for that night and the went on and on about how the website is set up and how I didn't click the box for insurance blah blah blah.
I understand what I did, but people make mistakes and their customer service was the worst customer service I've ever had.
They did not refund me and I will never be using this company again. Do not recommend
