This UNITED MASTERS site is SHADY at best. They seem to be marketing to merely ONE GENRE because that's ALL anyone ever sees.
It will start out where you can use a "FREE VERSION" (with limited uploads) & keep 90% of royalties gained for releases (which works FINE as it is) & there is an option to "upgrade" to "unlimited uploads" & keep 100% of your royalties for your streamed, downloaded & marketed material posted on "MORE PLATFORMS" than the "9/10 Plan".
That's the hook.

Once on the "premium plan", the aggravations start:
1. Artwork is CONSTANTLY rejected at THEIR whim.
2. Song tracks repeatedly "FAIL TO. UPLOAD" for "quality issues" (which didn't happen on the "9/10 Plan".
3. There are "no refunds" (honestly expected)... but the CATCH is there are NO OPTIONS to cancel the upgrade...& YOU WILL BE BILLED on the FOLLOWING YEAR for the $70 RECURRING FEE... even if attempting to CANCEL.
There seems to be NO WAY OUT of this.
4. Request help & get the "too bad, so sad" treatment with pitiful excuses in every email... not to mention the typical patsie "we received your request" garbage.
5. NONE...& I MEAN NONE of the platform links for material on other sites like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok actually work... ONCE "UPGRADED".

I left a 2 star rating because the tracks I have on the "free 9/10 plan" seem to work fine... FOR NOW.
It SEEMS TO WORK & have movement on the "9/10 Plan".
The "upgraded plan tracks" get ZERO traction, movement & CONSTANT roadblock issues.

I just want to simply end the "upgrade package" before the renewal date & return to the free "9/10 Plan" platform at the end of the "upgrade term"... but there's no way to DO THAT...& I am SURE they'll be happy to take the money for NOTHING.

UPDATE: Feb13th2024

The ghetto/homie label sent me a "notification" that "dey drawpp'd me, yo"...based on my complaints that they are hiding my music & keeping any & all of my royalties...not to mention I don't only "do hip-hop, homey-g, dawg-doo".

Their "numbers" are 100% bot & FAKE anyhow.

What a crap platform.

Use DISTROKID instead (although DISTROKID is VERY proprietary...you'll see REAL results).
