These individuals are scammers. I paid 50 cents to convert a PDF to a Word document.

However, 3 days later, I noticed that the we-pdf had deducted €49 from my credit card. I did not sign up for any subscription on the site, and there was no information about a free trial. While I believed I was paying for a one-time service of 50 cents, they withdrew €49 from me without my knowledge or consent.

This is outrageous; do not make any payments to them. They are also refusing to refund my money.

I only subscribed to their website to translate 1 document and for that I already paid 1 dollar. I did not start any 1 month subscription. 3 days later, They charged my card 39 dollars by subscribing me for 1 month without my knowledge. I canceled my card in question and made a spending objection to my bank. As soon as I received the message that they had withdrawn money from my card, I entered and canceled the subscription that took place without my knowledge. They dont refund my money,

This company has a SCAM-based business model. If you try their PDF editor, you can download it for 1€. But by doing this you are automatically subscribing to their most expensive subscription plan (what is indicated in small letters that of course you do not see). If you contact they - they refuse to refund.

I have downloaded one pdf file and paid for it. After 3 days they charge me 49 euro for subscription. The guys are scamers. Don't use their services.

I was charged 0.50 € for the service. Upon reviewing my bank statement, I noticed an unexpected withdrawal of 49 € from my account after a week. Unfortunately, I was unsure why this additional charge occurred. I kindly request for refunding the excess amount promptly. They said no refunds because it is outside of the 3-day (72 hours) free trial period. I would like to say it was not a free trial, it was a very expensive trial.

Like many others, I was led to believe I was paying €0.50 for a single document download, only to discover hidden subscription charges of €49. Limited disclosure of terms and conditions. Beware of misleading tactics.

I am in such distress, as I am jobless and I barely have money to make it to the end of this month.

Like many before me already mentioned: it gives you the impression that you are paying 0,50€ for the edit of a PDF first. Just realized that they booked 50€ for a subscription service. You can tell everyone as much as you want that it is "outlined during checkout" and what not but no. Your whole business model is based on scamming people who are, probably like me, sitting around in an office, looking for an affordable PDF editor and subscribing to something fully unknowingly since they just see the 0,50€ fee for 1 PDF. Afterwards they are screwed. As long as you don't refund my 50€, I will keep this review online and will do anything to tell everyone that this is the most disgusting scam you can find on the internet right now.

If I could give no start I would, very cunning, they said I have to pay £0.5 for using their services but after 3 days I discovered they took £49 they said it was a free trial which I'm sure was in small print somewhere where you can't see and you don't have to have an account with them to trick you you can just checkout as a guest and that's enough to hook you with no email confirmation sent because they just don't want to make you suspicious until they charge you then there is nothing you can do. Stay away if you can.

Well as many people have already said they charge you 50 € for using it for a simple thing like converting a pdf into something else.

I only authorized them to deduct 0.5 $ for one document conversion bu afer two days I was charged for full subscriotion fee. The emails notification I received from We-PDF were intentionally made fradulant with incorrect subject and there was a small note in the bottom about the fee.

These bastards are thiebes and scam

They only want money and even if you make something by mistake they don't give any refund back.unacceptable!

Tuttavia, oggi, il 5.02.2024, ho notato che We-PDF ha addebitato €49 dalla mia carta di credito. Non mi sono iscritto a nessuna sottoscrizione sul sito e non c'era alcuna informazione su una prova gratuita. Credevo di pagare per un servizio unico di 50 centesimi, ma hanno prelevato €49 da me senza la mia conoscenza o consenso. Dopo aver fatto delle ricerche sul mio account, ho scoperto che la stessa cosa era successa il 6.01.2024. Tuttavia, dato che non ho mai ricevuto alcuna notifica, non avevo notato la perdita dei miei soldi fino a oggi. Si prega di contattare la Polizia Postale per segnalare questo incidente.

I was trying to reach the team to cancel my subscription but no one took my call. They charged for the subscription later on. They are fraud and scammers.

Please, read revies they are scamming everyone by saying you pay as a one off 0.50 cnts and then one month later thye will charge you 50€!

I'm a family father, have 3 children, and I'm the only one who works in my home.3 days ago, I had 2 dollars in my account, and I have been contacted by a client who wanted me to sign a NDA. It was in pdf format. So I used we-pdf to do it. And paid the $0.5 fees.
Today I just received $50 on my account. The we-pdf scammers took it all.
Because of them, I have no money to feed my children.
