I purchased a downloaded version of WebsiteX5 evolution 8 web-building software by Incomedia through TigerDirect.com two weeks ago. Immediately after I installed the application my computer crashed and Dell had to replace my motherboard, harddrive, memory, and video card, so I lost WebsiteX5, I have tried to contact this company for approx. 2 weeks now and noone responds to service tickets, emails, and the phone number I found through search is nothing more than a fax number, the Dell technician also tried to contact them after he could not retrieve the program on my computer; all to no avail. I have purchased lot's of software and this is the first time a company won't honor my request for a re-install of a program that I purchased (and it wasn't cheap) at $75.99. When I contacted TigerDirect.com I was told that I was authorized to download the program only one time, I can't get a response from Incomedia at all. The software is a great product to use, but the company have no customer support and un-reachable. I would rather have bought a program that was harder to use that provided good customer support for it' customers. I will never purchase a download program again, I'd rather have a CD for backup.
WebsiteX5 did finally correct the problem, maybe it took so long because of the time difference between the U.S. and Italy. I will definitely make a back-up copy of the program before something happens to my computer again.
