Do NOT order from Wheatgrasshome! I ordered the Blendtec based on reviews thinking it would be the best fit for our needs, but not having a tamper proved to be a problem even for smoothies! I borrowed a friends Vitamix and there was no comparison! The Vitamix was louder, but it blended things up SO much faster! And the tamper was awesome... rather than having to stop, stir, and go again. But, thanks to Whatgrasshome I just spent a small fortune on a blender that I am not pleased with! Had I purchased from Blendtec they would have taken it back no questions asked within 30 days! My vote is for Vitamix, with a strong caution against ordering ANYTHING from Wheatgrasshome!
