Shane Wright and his experienced crew are just amazing builders. They completely renovated our 1989-vintage exterior siding doing both repairs and replacement. In fact, part of the process added features that enhanced the architectural look and saved us from having to fully replace three sides of siding. I am so grateful for the quality of workmanship and I feel a sense of pride again, when friends and family come to visit. I work from home, so having a peaceful space is important for me. The crew was friendly and hard working and every day we saw enormous progress. The best thing was that they cleaned up each day before they left too. One day we weren't finished with our part - removing the large plantings along the front of the house - as it was a bigger job than we realized. Instead of stopping their work for the day, they used our chainsaw and took care of it in minutes. We never found a discarded nail or random piece of wood laying around during or after the job either. While they were doing our project, we were freaking out as the cost of materials skyrocketed. Wright Built Construction never hit us with any cost increases. What they had on their estimate was what we paid. We ended up asking them to do other repairs that were not in our original request. They were gracious and efficient and fixed all those annoying little things for us. They took care of our home as if it were their own and gave us back pride of ownership. By the end of the job, there was nothing left on my "honey-do list". We sensed they wanted to make sure we were happy with their work, and their own standards were the highest. In case you think I'm a little "Polyanna" with this review, let me set you straight. Both my husband and I are pretty hyper-critical customers. My father was also a building contractor. I may not know how to do something, but I know when it's been done right. Or should I say the "Wright" way?

I also have one more comment to make about Wright Built Construction that I think is just as important to know. This winter we recommended them to some friends for a water-damaged kitchen. A different contractor had renovated it two years before. Unfortunately, that installation of the dishwasher had resulted in a slow dishwasher leak. Their insurance refused to pay and called it negligence because of the two-year leak period. Their entire kitchen was ruined from the floorboards up to the lower cabinets. They could not afford the same high end materials they had used in the initial renovation, but Wright Built Construction was able to recreate and duplicate the same luxurious look within their budget. I should close our review by saying that we had the BEST experience with this builder. They explained what we needed to know to make educated decisions. They documented the cost of materials to our satisfaction. They never tried to get extra money out of us, even though our job was a bit more complicated once they removed the siding and they did extra things for us. Although materials went up, they didn't change our original estimate. They scheduled and showed up when they said they would. In fact, their workmanship and professionalism exceeded our expectations in all respects. This winter I didn't mind the rain, the wind, the snow or the cold. I know my house is solid and I could not be more grateful to Wright Built for this continuing peace of mind.
