Looking back on this site from when I was in 3rd grade, it is very helpful and even though it was boring and bland and punishing you for mistakes, it did help and prepare me for middle school. Looking back on it as a graduate, it is worth the money and helps students, even the ones on this site writing horrible reviews with basic spelling errors will appreciate this in the future.
I am a kid, and I am in third grade, but once everyday we HAVE to do Xtra Math. But it doesn't make me enjoy math! I'm gonna be honest it does make you kind of memorize the math facts, but the problem is Mr c = Mr creepy also he looks like a monster and an egg but he only gives you 10 seconds or 3 to answer the question and when you get it wrong this is what he says in his head. "Your stupid haha" also the bugs. For example a VERY annoying bug is that every 10 math facts for me I press the right number but guess what. IT DOESNT GO THROUGH THE SYSTEM! L PROGRAM

This is the worst learning site ever. Why did the teachers bring this to my school?! It does NOT help me with my math skills. In fact, it makes them WORSE. Im a very smart kid and all, but im getting dumber cuz of this STUPID site.
They have a timer that is too fast! They stress kids (like me) out! It's torture! Don't use this!

Worry about the progress quiz, that's what brings up and down your score. The race the teacher is just practice. But still I hate it! It's pure evil!

The xtra math quizzes. They are unhelpful and only cause massive trauma for children.
This is a great tool to help with memorization of facts. It is only ten minutes at a time, so not to much to ask from a child. The online teacher has helpful hints and is reassuring no matter the progress. Much better than flash cards in my opinion. The rate at which the questions are asked and need answered helps the child prepare for the speed at which they need to answer the state testing to finish before time runs out. The only problem I have had is that when we started the new grade it is wanting us to finish the last year assignment. Still practice!

Have them completely focused on the app. Any distractions will slow their progress.

Hi, do you want something annoying and only helps people that are good at math. Well, come on down XtraMath. If you want something that will help you learn then IXL is your guy. Not only is XtraMath horrible it is cocky too. It is a bad website. Now if you are good at math then you've made your perfect match. BUT IF YOU ARE NOT STAY AWAY IT'S FOR YOUR ON GOOD.
Learn by using Xtra math. They may call him Mr egg head, but they are wrong. All 4 operations are very easy and take about 4-6 weeks for the average person. I am so good that I could finish it in 2 weeks instead of 4-6.
Yeah it might sort of help on keeping math facts it is so bad even paper is better, it is unforgiving and it does not let you pause to drink water. Worst of all if you touch the wrong key it counts it as wrong and also the race the teachers are just MORE math to keep them stressed out. There are better options like gimkit. And you have to pay for this? That's just terrible.

Hello my name is Olivia and i am a fifth grade student, and my class and i have to do XtraMath every single day because our teacher makes us. I have been using XtraMath for about seven months now and some people use it the same amount of time as everyone else and finished XtraMath and i am still on multiplication!

The reason i hate this program is because it causes a lot more stress and anxiety. I tried it. It´s bad. And if you have this, i feel bad for you. So teachers please discontinue this program from use.

My teacher assigns me Xtramath every night, and it is by far my least homework assignment. It is stressful, repetitive, and overall a horrible tool for learning.
