Ordered a replacement Tailgate Check due to the failure of the original. I chose an "open box", saving money. I am mechanically inclined, but I could not make the new one work. It would bind up no matter what I tried.
Returning involves submitting 6 to 8 pictures, getting approval, re-boxing and a trip to Fed Ex. After it's received, I'll get store credit.
I ordered a Tailgate Strut Kit, to fix my issue. Hopefully, it'll do the job.
I’ve ordered from Extreme Terrain before, with great success. A big reason are the excellent videos available on YouTube. Another factor is the sale team help and suggestions. Of course, competitive pricing is important.
