I placed an order on Dec. 6th. On Dec 18th I had yet to receive a shipping confirmation or my package. I sent an e-mail to customer service asking if I could have an update on my package since I needed it for Christmas for my sister. After 3 days I never received a response so I called. The woman on the phone was horribly rude. She continuously interrupted me while repeating their shipping policy. She refused to give me a refund while still receiving the product. She said the only thing she could do was cancel and refund my order. I asked for a manager and she said there are only two of us and no one else is here.
UPDATE: I bought two more kits from this company in anticipation of a CAL, crochet along starting this week. Based on my previous experience I expected the kit to take a month. It's been two weeks and I have yet to receive any shipping information or any other kind of communication surrounding my orders. Contacted customer service 5 days ago and still haven't gotten a response. I called their customer service number and never got through. I'm fine with waiting for the kit but this company could at least inform their customers as to the status of their order since they already took my money.
Basically, do not buy directly from Lion Brand! If you want to get their yarn, go to Joanne's or Michaels. I'll be trying to switch to other suppliers.
