Purchased a $900 Excalibur 10 tray dehydrator and it stopped working after 2 months. Called and emailed the company for help, and keep having to chase them up because they don't reply to customers without numerous emails/phone calls.

Asked them to post a return shipping slip, they delayed again in sending the slip. Finally receive the postage details and send the item back, still no follow up. I emailed them weeks later and they lied saying they had only received it back the week prior, when Aust post tracking says they received it 2 weeks prior.

Finally they say the PCB (main control board) has failed. I asked for a refund as that is a major failure. They refused and proceeded to blame the customer for their delays in replying etc.

Now the issue has been escalated to PayPal because they still refuse to refund the faulty product.

They now claim the PCB can fail easily from moisture or heat, the two things the machine is designed to do. Every time on the phone they blame everyone but themselves, make excuses and generally can't take responsibility for their own behaviour.

Disgraceful behaviour, and breaches the ACL. Would never purchase anything from this business again.
