I have owned a Mighty Mule gate opener for the last 33 years. The first one had a few issues in the beginning, but Mighty Mule helped me work through the problem. It was great for years afterward. I bought a new one for my new house about 2 or 3 years ago. The circuit board has already gone bad. Tech support and customer service were all over the place, good and horrible. Finally they gave me a part number for a new circuit board and told me how to order online. I called in to verify that I was ordering the correct part because the online information was confusing. Turned out the part was the wrong one and they don't even carry the correct part. Now they want to charge a 20% restocking fee. They refused to waive the fee because I ordered online; with the part number they gave me even after I verified the information a second time. Ridiculous!

Update: They now informed me they would not charge the restock fee and they just received the correct circuit board so they are making the exchange. I will have to pay to ship the wrong item back, but that is a small price to pay to have the issue resolved.
