A recent bad experience at a Total Sports branch in the Cape Gate Centre, has left my frustrated and very sad. I am a visitor to this country and an invite to a rugby game prompted me to buy gifts in the Springbok colours at that store. At the moment of the purchase with my bank card there was a power cut. On my bank statement, the transaction shows as a successful purchase, Total Sport refuses to accept this and refuses to give me my goods. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact various people at The Foschini Group with no response or acknowledgement. I am leaving South Africa with one very bad experience, and it is the lack of customer service and obvious fraud of Total Sports.
