IMobie is is a very shady company that misrepresents their products and claims the impossible (such as the ability to bypass iCloud activation locks) in reality, they pioneered a brand new genre of software: BOGUSWEAR.

HERE'S HOW THE SCAM WORKS: The reason iMobie gets away with selling BOGUSWEAR is because they actually stand by their refund policy. I work in the tech industry and know several people who have used this software- it has NEVER ONCE worked for any of them, but iMobie does honor their refunds. But not everyone asks for a refund. For every one person who request a refund, there's 5 more who don't even bother, and that's how iMobie rakes in the cash, selling bogus software that doesn't work.

Notice that the "V" is right next to the "B" on your keyboard. IMobie is a mistype of iMovie and when they first started out, they preyed upon people accidentally landing on their website. Nowdays iMobie has HUNDREDS of different Wordpress websites under various domains names. These sights publish long, extensive "How To" articles that pretend to be giving advise on what software to chose, but it's a complete sham- these so called "articles" are just a bunch of links to their own software.

IMobie even owns the very websites which rank and review their software. IMobie has written THOUSANDS of fake 5-star reviews reviews about their product. Remember how I said IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Well, the fact that even one person wrote a positive review about their bogus software is evidence they write their own reviews.

And while it may seem that they have tons of apps, they don't. They're the same 3 apps repackaged and rebranded. And they've been doing this for years. They own sites like iChimp.org, iphonerecovery.com I wouldn'r be suprised if Tenorshare, Wondershare, Dr.Fone and PhoneRescue, iSkySoft, FoneLab, AnyTrans, PhoneTrans were all the same company.

Imagine a guy standing on the corner selling flatscreen TVs for $25, saying "this is the greatest TV you'll ever owned or your money back" but none of the TV's power on. That's how these people operate. They're banking on the fact that a lot of people won't even bother to return the TV because it was only $25 and they don't have the time.

I didn't want to write this review because I don't want to give my secret supplier away to the competition, but it looks like some trolls are slandering MobileSentrix, so I have to intervene.

First of all, we didn't find Mobile Sentrix, they found us. MobileSentrix cold-called our store in 2018 and I almost hung up on them, but they pitched their case and wanted to be our primary supplier and we singed on. Here we are 4 years and 1,000+ orders later…

FAKE REVIEWS are common in our industry because we are operating within an Apple-sub market, which is very cutthroat as new players throw their hat in the ring every day to fight for a bite of the big Apple. Being with MobileSentrix for 4 years, I can say with certainty, that most of these are fake. I'm not saying ALL of them, but some are blatantly false because they have no basis in reality. Let's go through them.

RETURNS: There's no way in hell Mobile Sentrix can I have a 1.5 stars in returns. Their return policy is the cream of the crop and hands-down, the best feature about them. Screens carry a lifetime warranty (which is insane considering how customers treat their devices) and batteries have a 1-year warranty, but here's the thing: We've returned a battery TWO YEARS later. In fact, Mobile Sentrix has never rejected a single return of ours, not even when it's been outside the return window. You've gotta be really dumb to get Mobile Sentrix to reject your return. If they refused you, it's probably because you broke the part and tried to pull a fast one. This is no business for amateurs. The pros know the difference between a factory defect and accidental damage. Additionally, they pay for the return shipping. Overall, I give them a 5/5.

SHIPPING: Again, there's no possible way they're a 2/5. In my experience shipping is usually free and lightning fast. Let me give an example of how cool these guys are. Today, I desperately needed an item fast so I paid the extra $15 for overnight shipping. (BTW, that would cost you $30 from GadgetFix. I know, because I checked). Unfortunately, it's Saturday and I missed the shipping cut off, so I'll have to wait till Monday for them to even process my order… Lone and behold, 15 min later, I get an email saying my item has been shipped. How cool is that? 5/5. It can't get better.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: OK I'll give them a 4/5 on this one but before I start critiquing their employee performance, let's just be thankful for the fact they EVEN HAVE phone support in an age where everything is done with chatbots, email and support tickets. The #1 reason I switched to Mobile Sentrix is because they have a working phone that you can call and if they ever take that away, I'M DONE.

Okay, so 9/10 times I call, my questions and concerns are properly addressed. However, there have been a couple times when the agent didn't really know the drill. Once, I asked about part compatibility and I got the robotic answer of "check your service manual to ensure compatibility before ordering". Another time I inquired about part availability and was basically told "what you see it what you get", but that didn't reflect my past experiences where the agent would put me on hold while she checked with the warehouse to see if any new pallets arrived. Honestly, you can't expect you guys to know everything and I should really just give them at 5/5 for dealing with my bull$#*!, but for right now, we'll just stick with a 4 because there is room for improvement.

VALUE: Their prices are competitive and this one's not even debatable because you can go to their website and see for yourself. They have premium screens as well as aftermarket screens and they're priced accordingly. Some suppliers (like GadgetFix) are known for having the lowest price, but that's because they offer the lowest quality. For me, it's worth it to pay 80¢ more for a MobileSentrix screen because they come with a lifetime warranty, A+ support, fast shipping and paid return labels. The only time I ever shop at GF is when MobileSentrix is out of stock, and half the time I end up regretting it…

WHAT I DISLIKE:
1. When Mobile Sentrix is out of stock and I have to shop at GadgetFix. I would like to keep everything with one supplier but far too often, they run out of inventory and I end up buying an inferior product from someone else.
2. I dislike their search engine and how you can't change the amount of results per page, sort by price, or filter your results by category or grade. I don't like how the instant results don't show the price.
3. I COMPLETELY HATE the order history page and how the default view shows only the last 30 days rather than the last 30 orders. What's more annoying is the time and amount of steps required to get basic info about an order. When you click "view", a little clock starts counting down and then it takes it to a completely different page, but you still have to click a drop-down menu to see the parts you ordered. And just to be as annoying as possible, the items are un-clickable and do not take you to the description page. UAAAGH! It would be so much better if we didn't have to leave the order history page, and it showed some kind of "quick view" when clicked it that expanded to reveal the items and tracking #.
4. SOME items are dead on arrival. These are usually the cheaper aftermarket quality and not the premium grade. Still, it's annoying because they shouldn't be dead. Thankfully, Mobile Sentrix is fantastic with returns.

WHAT I DO LIKE
1. Mobile Sentrix makes their own batteries and they have a higher charge capacity than the genuine Apple batteries.
2. They invent stuff like the Portable Power Bank. This was a revolutionary product but it's now discontinued because people are too stupid to see its value. RiP Power Bank.
3. They sell professional tools that you would normally have to buy from Rewa and wait a month to arrive from China.

In conclusion, Mobile Sentrix is legit. They're NOT a two star company, they are a 4.5 and the folks here trashing them are either idiots, or competitors.

PS, SiteJabber sucks because I can't upload any of my images. The page freezes and there's no way out.

Tip for consumers:
Use the AmpSentrix brand batteries. They're better than Apple's!

Products used:
Screens, batteries, tools
