What I thought would be one of my simplest summer (August) home projects tuned out to be a continual nightmare as of today. This nightmare started with G. S flooring contracted by Home-depot to install a simple vinyl floor which I was charged $1300 (Instillation). The 1st photo below is day one of the disaster flooring job by home depot and G. S flooring (Beautiful hum). WAIT!. Next photo is the vinyl flooring that was cut to short and glue was used to help with the breathing (per G. S Installer) not to mention it is by the entrance way where everyone that enters can see the flooring is cut to short except G. S flooring installers. WAIT!. Week two... the glue used to hold the vinyl in place is not holding, therefore the ($2400) flooring job is rising off the floor. WAIT! As we can see the glue is totally not sticking. OH yes the cemented area that was already cemented is what Home-depot & G. S charged me $437.00 (what they call Leveling 250ft). Which clealy not 250ft. I measured 37inches = 3 feet 1 inch ($437.00). This job was started in late August it is now November and I am still waiting for this job to be reinstall by the same contractors which lied about the measurements and installed this horror of a flooring. (G. S). It is clearly Home-Depot does not honor customer satisfaction nor are they screening these contractor. I would have been better off using a contractor from Angie's list and going to Lowes' or Menards' for materials. As I said it is now November in Chicago and getting colder and I am still waiting for a job to be completed from August. This nightmare is not over. I am still waiting...

Redbeacon doesn't even deserve 1 star but i could not submit the review without choosing at least one star. Still waiting for my money back. I just used Redbeacon a week ago they are horrible even though home depot has bought out Redbeacon they state none of the work is backed by them. Per RedBeacon's website... 1 Pro Skill Profile. Redbeacon requires Pros to post a profile ("Skill Profile") on the Website. Redbeacon does not review or verify the information or representations set forth in those Skill Profiles, as they are self-reported by the Pros. Although Redbeacon may take certain steps to examine the credentials of Pros, Redbeacon makes no guarantees, promises, warranties or representations of any kind regarding the skills or representations of such Pros if you elect to retain their services. If this is the case why is Home Depot referring RedBeacon to the customers... Answer! Because RedBeacon neither Homedepot care about the customers. For sure a post re: RedBeacon, Home Depot contractors and handymen will be posted on my facebook page, with my village and BBB along with the photo of the handyman contractor as a RED FLAG RISK...
