I just changed the review from one star to three (February 2022)! After all the customer service contacted me and was of real help. I give it 3 stars only because everything is complicated to be set up properly, however i think the distribution is efficient and the customer service is user friendly once a connection is established. My initial review from January 2022: I've been their customer for 9 years, registered as artist with 4cd productions and 2 singles. In the meantime i experienced very inefficient, even annoying customer service which is not personalized. It sometimes take months to receive an answer from support also for urgent matters. The rules for the admittance of productions are weird, if unlucky not even allowing to use the estabished band name. Example: they would not accept the band name Maggie Miller & George Hunter for a duo, although this is printed on the cover of the CD. Communication is slow and inefficient, usually cd baby is answering with standard phrases which might not provide answers to the actual problem at all, sometimes just sending out the same content again without really answering.

Tip for consumers:
very difficult & painstaking registration process for new productions ....
