I have actually had a fairly good history with the company. However, I was recently charged for an annual membership that I don't use. I did sign up for a trial at a discounted rate and ended up unable to use the site because I had a lot going on and no longer had the time available. I set it up as an autopay through PayPal, and I check in on what's coming out periodically. Craftsy was not on that list. Imagine my surprise when I wake up to a $97 charge! I reached out immediately (I had to wait until they were open, so I sent an email) and was sent the same canned message twice. They can't issue a refund because it's against their terms and policies. Then they offered a $100 credit after I'd already explained that I had no time to use their site in the first place. I was given a partial refund, which is unacceptable as I haven't even accessed any of the courses.
I am now working with PayPal and my bank to get the rest of my money back. I am incredibly angry and disappointed with the interactions and will absolutely never use their company again nor will I recommend it. Shocked at the way the company has handled this, but lesson learned.

Our refund policy is that we do not issue refunds once the membership has been renewed. We also do not refund for non-usage. You are able to login to your membership account at any time and cancel the renewal before it charges. We did also send you an email reminder on 07/09/2023 to let you know that your membership would be renewing soon and how to cancel. As stated previously by Sarah, I have approved a one-time courtesy refund of $48.50, Sarah provided the digital store credit, and you have the ability to access your membership benefits until the end of your paid term.

They absolutely do NOT value their customers! I myself am a small business owner, and even though it's not easy to refund (I've actually never had to), I would do so. I understand circumstances arise, needs change, etc. But to punish someone because they overlooked something and be completely unreasonable in addressing or dealing with it is insane. This isn't customer service, they're just wanting to keep your money. The value isn't even there. Save your money and visit Udemy, YouTube (FREE is even better!) or Creativefabrica. All of those offer classes and instruction of much better value than anything I've seen on Craftsy anyhow.
