My wife and I book all our trips on Expedia. It is much cheaper than booking a flight directly from the airline. The points are nice and although it takes forever for them to redeem, I definitely have been able to use them and get free hotel rooms. App and website are very easy to use. Although sometimes if I am booking a hotel flight and car, the app does not work as well as the website

I researched your issue with our Customer Care team. When customers place orders via our website, there is a box to check to opt into automatic deliveries. This box was checked on your order that came through. This is why your account was on an automated delivery plan and product had shipped out to you automatically. However, we understand that someone can inadvertently check the box without intending to opt in and it sounds like this was the situation in your case.
We would never ask a customer to pay the shipping cost to return the product in this situation. Our goal is to make the return as easy as possible. Our Customer Care representative with whom you spoke indicated that she told you she would send a postage pre-paid envelope for the return.
