So the original manufacturer packing was inadequate to withstand the rough handling of the package by FedEx. The power supply had separated from the main base and made the light non-functioning. It was then disposed of per Houzz's recommendation. I was then able to use the refund to purchase a new light from a new vendor and have been greatly enjoying the new light. It looks awesome. But the Houzz representative so just so great. Very helpful, and very supportive of my concerns. Worked diligently to make certain I was taken care of.
