Warning! PayPal doesn't provide Purchase Protection to customers, but will protect blatant internet scammers because they make money from their transactions. I was sent rubbish instead of what I had ordered and PayPal requires that the item be sent back to the seller for inspection and approval before any refund can be given, minus the shipping costs. This is a huge problem when the shipping costs twice the amount of the product! Who in their right mind would ever fall for that scam? Send back a scammer's trash paying twice the amount of your potential refund to maybe get only the cost of the product itself and only if the scammer wants to give it back is a far cry from being considered any sort of Buyer's Protection Policy! Initially PayPal said that they would be reimbursing me, but needed to check with the seller again before doing so, then nothing. You can no longer speak to anyone at PayPal for any reason so you have to chat, but each response takes several hours and each time involves someone different that doesn't have the visibility of previous conversations over the same issue so it's like starting all over each time! After months of promises, guarantees and lies, they denied my claim for refusing to pay the shipping scam which now made it too late to contest with my credit card company as well. A total waste of effort, unjust frustration and a $360 lesson learned the hard way! Thanks PayPal! Who needs pals like that?!
