About eight months ago Bell was running a promotion in my area for their Fibre Optic service. I decided to give it a try. IMMEDIATELY after it was finally all set up there was a grating thumping noise coming thru the speakers. Playing music would drown it out BUT watching a show with no music was an exercise in absolute frustration and stress having to listen to this in the background. I called Bell tech and was immediately told it was not Bells equipment but mine. I assured tech that it was not an issue until I went over to Bell and again was told it was my equipment. After about eight months of listening to this constant noise and them raising their rates I decided to go with another provider. I'm saving over $30.00 a month and the noise is gone! I could not be happier and should have done it much sooner.

I CANNOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND BELL. OVERPRICED AND POOR TECH SUPPORT.

WEIDER ULTIMATE BODY WORKS sliding trainer can be folded to stow or stored fully open standing up. They are far less expensive than Total Gym, lighter, simpler and smaller. I picked up a used Weider in vgc for 50. Cdn!

They use body weight to add resistance as well as bands that can add an additional 50 lbs resistance. If you need more resistance there are ways to add more.

There are tons of videos on line to help get you started and to learn from.

This is a heavy duty machine that is capable of getting you fit fast. Since there are few adjustments and no waiting for a machine workouts are shorter. There is a bit of a learning curve but as home gyms go this one has a lot going for it particularly if space, funds and/or time are issues.

If you are looking for one piece of gym equipment that does a lot I recommend looking into this home gym.

Placed a $130.00 order a week ago and was quickly sent an email stating one item was on back order. They asked me to reply to the email stating whether I wanted to wait or cancel. I replied cancel. Then nothing! Total silence. They still have my money and several email inquiries to them have been unanswered. The chat assistant was useless. At this point in time I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.

UPDATE. Several weeks later the order arrived even though I tried to cancel it. Then to top it off I was sent the shipping bill….almost $60.00 CDN. They have never billed me before for shipping. I will not be ordering from them again. Again I cannot recommend this company.

The Panthera is my second apnea oral appliance. The first was a total waste of my time and money to the tune of almost 1K. However I learned a few things. First do your research before parting with your money for such an important health care item and secondly do not make the mistake of thinking all health care professionals have your best interest in mind.

The first acrylic appliance lasted seven months before both plastic side connectors broke making the appliance useless. The replacement cost for two of these connectors was 155.00. The dentist sets the price and there are NO Canadian suppliers. You are at the mercy of the Dentist. I found all this out AFTER the connectors broke. This particular appliance has an average life span of two years so if the connectors last an average of six months the cost of maintaining the appliance add up to $1500. 00 or more depending on what your dentist charges, not to mention the down time while the appliance is broken. The plastic connectors on this model are EXTREMELY time consuming and challenging to change. Each time took me hours. I swore after the first time I would NOT be buying another appliance like this once it was broken or worn out. There is no warranty. It arrived with one set of generic plastic connectors, that by the way are very easy to bend out of shape and WILL when you are trying to change them.

I just recently received the Panthera oral device and all I can say is this has been a completely different experience. It's worth the time to google and find a dentist who works with the Panthera company.

The moulding process was more involved than with the first appliance. Also measurements were taken so that the side connectors would be customized to my lower jaws range of forward motion. Also there is no way these connectors are going to break and the system for changing them out is well thought out and easy.

The Panthera is made from nylon and very strong. Also the fit is tight and allows no jaw movement once in. The first one I purchased had a LOT of play in it. I knew as soon as I tried the Panthera on for the first time that is was by far the ROLLS ROYCE of apnea oral appliances.

It comes with a tray of side connectors that again are customized to your jaws range of movement, a cleaning container, user manual, 3 year warranty, a storage container, cleaning brush.

The Panthera oral appliance has an average life span of five years.

So you can spend $1500. 00 or more over a span of two years for an inferior acrylic and plastic apnea appliance or drop $2200. 00 and get the best there is knowing you have a three year warranty and a life span of five years. I think the math speak for itself but regardless the Panthera is the way to go in my opinion.

Lightinthebox.com appears to have fabulous section and prices. The site states 5-9 business days shipping so being in Canada I assumed this company was in North America. I also assumed that all the lovely Tee shirts I was looking at were cotton. There was no fabric content stated in the descriptions of the two I finally ordered.

Within a couple of days it became apparent that the company was in China and I was not going to be getting these Tees before the heat of summer.

They finally arrived and were POLYESTER! The sizing was also off as is often the case with items made in China.

UPDATE. After several weeks of emailing back and forth with Bloo and sending pictures verifying the measurements of the Tees did not match the measurements stated in the listings I was finally given a full refund.

I was looking for some funky tee shirts when I came across BLASKULL.COM. The selection was great as were the prices so I ordered two at a cost of over $50.00. Days went by without a confirmation email so I sent them an email inquiry that went unanswered for several days. So I sent another email and again no reply. Two more tries and again no response.

It was unfortunately only then that I did some research to find that this site was likely a scam.

UPDATE. The Tees arrived today and they are NOTHING like what was pictured. The ones I ordered had decorative blanket stitch around the neck line and down the side seams. No decorative stitching. In the listing pics the Tanks definitely appear to be cotton and have gem stones. They do not have gems and are 100% polyester. I wear M but ordered S as I prefer a snug fit and these are huge, more like a large. It appears that the scam is that you will receive inferior items that look nothing like what you ordered about 6-8 weeks after ordering and returning them will cost so much as to make it not worth.

I tried contacting the company again and actually heard back. They would return the cost of the tees once I returned them. By the time you pay return shipping after paying to ship them to you it just wouldn't be worth it and I'm sure they bank o that. I asked if they would be paying for return shipping and never heard back.

I cannot recommend this site to anyone looking for a relationship. For me there were 6 possibilities near me. Many of the profiles appear fake. When I signed on for FREE which of course is not free I started getting all these emails from great looking men. I should have known then something was wrong. I signed up for a month and replied to these men and none responded. A closer look at their profiles revealed what I believe to be fakes likely being paid to dupe people. Most of the men whether close or far appear to be looking for women in distant countries. Their profiles often didn't make sense. You are allowed 140 characters to describe yourself or your match. Basically a line or two. I immediately cancelled repeat subscription and was booted to LoopyLove which is a repeat of MatureDating. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE unless you enjoy throwing your money away.

JULY 7/21 UPDATE: If you decide to throw your money away be aware that there is a small tab somewhere on the Mature Dating site that if you do not notice and click on you will be billed an additional 40.00 Cdn to have your profile placed on another site called DATING CHEMISTRY. This site has all the same profiles as LOOPY LOVE and MATURE DATING except for the fake ones, they seem to differ. When I reported fake profiles on these sites I was told they were safe to speak with! I have evidence here that they are not. ALL THREE OF THESE DATING SITES ARE OWNED BY CUPID.COM and I suspect that they are using profiles from Cupid to paper these sites to make them appear legit. They are not legit. To their credit they did eventually refund all monies they took from me. I have reported all three sites to fraud squad here in Canada. AGAIN I RECOMMEND AVOIDING THESE THREE SITES!
