I had the worst publishing experience of my life with the scam run by the publishing house known as Juniper Publishers. I wanted to share this story of how I fell into the trap laid by the predatory publishers at Juniper Publishers so that my colleagues in the community of authors can stay away from them.

The story of how I got ripped-off began back in February 2018. I lost both my precious time as well as the money behind the elaborate fraud set up by the Juniper Publishers. I hope that this complaint and negative review brings the publishing house into the limelight of investigation.

The con publishers have an excellent reputation on the internet today. I suspect that most of the reviews posted for the Juniper Publishers are completely fake and unreliable. I fell a victim to the scam set up by these predatory publishers after reading the awesome reviews on the internet.

I am a renowned surgeon in my field and I finished my book on the nuances of surgery back in February 2018. Back then, I was searching for a reliable publishing house to publish my book when I came across the name of Juniper Publishers. The awesome online reviews convinced me that the publishing house had helped several people publish their books successfully. I never expected Juniper Publishers to be such big rip-offs.

When I first contacted the fraud operation of Juniper Publishers, I got in touch with Jack from their team. Jack made me feel extremely comfortable and easy. He promised the Juniper Publishers took the complaints from the author community very seriously to constantly improve their services. I was convinced that the few negative reviews against the con publishers were completely fake. So, I started having the conversation on what was the game plan that Juniper Publishers would follow to publish my book.

The scam was so elaborate that the predatory publishers first told me that they would pay me a heavy royalty for the book and charge no money. However, 2 months into the initial conversation, I started suspecting the chances of a rip-off and fraud when Jack said that they needed 500 dollars from my end to start the process. I was furious since Juniper Publishers initially told me that I would not have to pay a single penny for the process. So, I lodged a complaint with Jack for this issue.

Jack was an extremely calm and cunning person hired by Juniper Publishers. He told me that the entire fee is completely refundable and that it is just part of the elaborate process. He said that I should keep calm and focus on writing another book instead of writing a negative review against the con publishers. I was convinced by the fact that I would get my 500 dollars back.

I invested 500 dollars into the scam run by the predatory publishers. Soon, I was greeted with the message that my book was almost ready to be published. I was genuinely excited since Jack from Juniper Publishers told me that my book will be published in the next two weeks. I did not expect this event to turn out to be a big rip-off at all. I wish I saw Juniper Publishers coming for my money from a mile away so that I could take some action against them. Jack had already asked me to control my quick emotions and avoid posting any complaint or negative review against Juniper Publishers.

After two weeks, the date when the con publishers promised to publish my book arrived, the scam took a whole new turn! Now the predatory publishers at Juniper Publishers asked me for a 1000-dollar fee for the last minute proofreading session. Juniper Publishers told me that this was the final step of the process and that my book will be published after this.

I was exhausted by the constant back and forth communication by now. I suspected that the rip-off and fraud will finally end if I pay them the last 1000 dollars for publishing the book. Juniper publishers told me that my book will never face any complaint or negative review if I pay them 1000 dollars for the final proofreading process. I was convinced that this was a small fee by the predatory publishers for the whole process. Jack told me that this will allow the Juniper Publishers to fortify the foundation of the book and make sure that no one rips-off my effort in a fraudulent attempt. I thought that 1000 dollars is a small fee for never getting a complaint or a negative review on the book.

I happily complied with the request of the con publishers at Juniper Publishers once again. After that day, I have never heard back from the predatory publishers. I ask all my colleagues and students to stay away from the predatory publishers known as Juniper Publishers if they wish to save their time as well as money.
