National Detail Pros has failed to meet the basic definition of customer service and have mis-representing the products and experience that were offered. I requested to have my RV detailed, roof cleaned and sealed, rainx applied to the windshield and the tires and rims shined.
On the day of service, at 9am the technician called to tell me he had a vehicle breakdown and would rent a vehicle and be at my residence to perform the work at approximately noon.
The detailer arrived at 12:15pm and I had a conversation with him on what he was to do. The technician didn't have any kind of roof sealer for that service and said that the owner would typically supply that. He did say he had the rainx and other products needed to complete the job.
He did begin working on the coach@ 1pm, washing the roof and then pressure spraying the coach down with his pressure sprayer.
At 1:45pm the technician informed me he was going to break for lunch while the coach dried so he can begin the next step.
The technician was gone from the property for over 2 hours. And returned at 4:30pm. During this missing 2.5 hours, we spoke and texted with the National Detail Pros representative where we decided to cancel the service as we didn't have multiple days to have this done, we were leaving on a trip the next day. The representative told us in text he could have another technician come out and detail the coach at our first location on our trip if we preferred. All video and text have been saved.
The discussion continued and we agreed that if the technician can return and complete the job that day, we would accept it. After the technician returned we discussed that he would finish that day and he agreed. He then spent the next two hours working a LITTLE on the coach and spending most of the time on the phone pacing the property. Again, we have video to collaborate with this.
During this time, the technician applied rubbing compound to the Diamond Shield protectant on the front of the coach with a buffer. Now, National Detail Pros told me their technicians are professionals, are vetted for experience and know how to work with all the various coatings on a coach. Diamond Shield's product documentation explicitly said not to put any product on their shield or use a buffing wheel on it. If their technician was experienced with RV detailing, he would have known not to do this, as a result, I now have a $2500 bill to have the ruined Diamond Shield removed from the coach.
At 6:30pm, after the technician asked if he could finish the next day as he had to return the rental before 8pm, I agreed that if he arrived at 8am and finished by noon I would be ok for him to return as we had to leave at 3pm that next day. Again, this conversation is recorded on video.
On the following day, the technician had not arrived by 9am and we began calling and texting National Detail Pros to get this job fully cancelled or a new technician sent to our first stop on our trip. At that time, National Detail Pros told me that they couldn't split the work order between two technicians (remember the technician started work, left and Detail Pros offered to do this the day before) and that we would be responsible for the entire cost of the detail even if we didn't let him try to rectify the situation. Text of this conversation is also saved.
The technician finally arrived at 10am, argued with us for about an hour, tried to remove the product from the Diamond Shield which was completely baked into the product by this time, the product is now completely foggy and not recoverable.
National Detail Pros then became a predatory company, while we didn't sign off on the work as we were obviously not sent a professional, let alone an experienced detailer. They insisted that because they started the work, no matter how incomplete the job was or that we weren't satisfied, we were responsible for the entire cost. We have the text of this conversation as well.
National Detail pros offered us to pay $800 which we refused. We did offer them $400 which was MORE than generous for the "technicians" time to settle the deal and part ways. That offer of $400 included us not writing this or making any other claim against them. National Detail Pros refused, then charged us the full amount. All of this is in text message and can be provided.
We disputed the charge but National Detail Pros had responded to the CC company with something they claim was proof we were responsible and hence, we have been charged back the full amount. We will still be fighting this, because we never signed off on the work, and all the videos and text prove they knew they were in the wrong.
We have security cam video of the work (or lack there of) along with family and neighbor witnesses to the entire event. We have the full text message conversation with National Detail Pros representative which was their primary method of communication. None the less, National Detail Pros has scammed us out of this money and refuse to take responsibility for failing to live up to their sites representation of what they are offering.

Vanessa J. – National Detail Pros Rep

We arrived on site and worked for 2 days doing the detail. The customer made us leave because they were leaving on a trip. We did all the work the customer paid for. They originally had paid for much larger service and because they had to leave, we lowered it down to almost half price because they made us leave due to not having anymore time. The customer agrees to pay via the terms and conditions on the site which they digitally sign and agree to. We do have photos of the RV upon completion including the front and there was no such damage that is spoke of here. To request these photos, you are welcome to email us at info@nationaldetailpros.com referencing detail for Chris Murray. The amount Chris was being charged was lowered due to him dropping services since he had to leave, NOT because of any damages.
