So I received a $50 off coupon for a site called Beautykind.com. I don't have the need for much of the items they carry (many make up and hair products) but with that type of deal how could I refuse? The site claims that they are charitable and offer to different organizations which I thought was great and made me more confident with ordering with them. That being said, it was understandable that things were a bit expensive. However most of the lower priced items seemed to me always sold out or out of stock. I did end up finding items that i thought would be nice. Everything seemed fine and I used my coupon, Everything was processed and done with me only paying for the shipping. The next day I got an email saying that they would not honor the coupon. It had apparently expired even though while processing the order nothing showed that anything was wrong. They put a stop on my order and didn't charge me(thankfully) because they told me i would have to pay full price for the items. Thankfully they had the decency to wait for a response from me before charging me the full amount. When calling their customer service I spoke to a woman. She asked me when I placed the order, I paused for a moment and she l let out an annoyed sigh/ She was absolutely not seem concerned with my order in the slightest. She explained to me that the coupon was expired and allowed me the option of paying full price. Obviously I told her to cancel my order, as the only reason I visited the site was for the coupon they denied me. She did seem quite pleased and with a more pleasant tone once she cancelled my order so I guess it's good at least some one is happy. I wouldn't have visited this site before and I certainly wouldn't bother with it afterwards. You made the offer and it brought the traffic to your site so you should keep your word.
