This site allows some of the most ignorant, childish, and self-absorbed people ever to make their presence known on the Internet to post the most meaningless, amateurish, and spiteful surveys I've ever seen and does NOTHING to keep them in check. Sure, most of these individuals may very well be moody, poorly parented teenagers and/or bored, immature twenty-somethings, but age is no excuse for crass obliviousness or self-indulgence or any other kind of low standards. The poor grasp of grammar that most of these quiz makers demonstrate particularly shows just how little they themselves care about the quality of the tests they devise, much less the site's own barely existent moderators.

Take, for example, this glorified griping session in which the creator is ultimately whining about a crummy day he/she is apparently having:

Then there's this gem in which the foul-mouthed, grammatically challenged creator asks if the test taker "sucks" as a person, which most of the sixteen commentors rightfully deride. The description of the survey alone speaks volumes of where the guy's head was when he made his little magnum opus.

The site even hosts several quizzes where the creators blatantly ask takers "Do I hate you?" as though they even know (or care) who's on the other end. Here are just a few examples of such wastes of webspace.

Personality surveys/quizzes are supposed to be a fun little break from reality for whoever takes them, demographics (age, race, gender, etc.) aside. If those who make such tests can't take the whole creation process seriously, though—especially as far as said surveys' content is concerned—then what's the point of such people making and posting such works for all the world to see in the first place, much less in anyone taking them? I certainly don't see why anyone in his or her right mind would want to take quizzes like the ones I've referenced here, nor can I see why anyone would give GoToQuiz.com any score on any review site higher than one star if this is the kind of material they regularly host. It just goes to show how few their standards are (if they have any at all) and how open they are to allowing ANYONE to post the meanest-spirited, most thoughtless garbage he or she wants to in a world that's already rotten and ill-natured enough as matters stand.
