I ordered a rotating curling iron from plusaurora early August. My package arrive around 8/21, so not bad for shipping time during the pandemic. I opened the box and I had received a very small (not much bigger than my hand) hair straightener that was shipped from TX. I contacted the company right away about their mistake and asked to send back the straightener that I did not want or purchase and to get the curler in return. They refused to do this.
Plusaurora offered me a 20% discount and to keep the merchandise. I refused as I did not want this product and it was no where near what I needed or would have ordered. They then offered me a 50% discount and to the keep the item. I again refused as I did not need this product and asked for a full refund and I would ship back to TX at my cost.
Plusaurora then informed me that even though this was shipped from TX all returns MUST go to China for a return and that would be around $20! The product was ONLY $35 to begin with! WHY WOULD I EVER PAY $20 to ship back? I asked if they would send me a return label since the mistake was on their end and all I did was make a purchase from their company and they flat said NO. Either take the 50% and keep your product or pay $20 and ship to an address they provided to China and I would get my refund in 4-6 weeks.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I truly believe this is scam. The sz of the straightener if very small... it looks like one you could purchase from a family dollar for $5. I believe they show these videos of the curler and then send the straightener and then see how much the consumer will fight them and they offer a 50% discount which still means they made $12.50 off their $5 item.
Do NOT purchase from this company. You will regret it a 100%!
