"Care2 Stands Against: bigots, bullies, science deniers, misogynists, gun lobbyists, xenophobes, the willfully ignorant, animal abusers, frackers, and other mean people. If you find yourself aligning with any of those folks, you can move along, nothing to see here."
Sounds good, yes? Read between the lines. While I have no arguments against targeting animal abusers, the other labels need better definition because it can be biased and too facile. What's Care2's definition of a bigot, a bully, or mean people? Does that mean if my views are at variance with Care2's political position that I'm a bigoted mean person who's willfully ignorant, that I should just "Move along"? Care2 isn't interested in rational discussions; it's an exclusive self-congratulatory political club that aims to intimidate, demean, and brainwash the intellectually passive.
