As I have had a tendency to ramble, focus on the negative, go back and forth between business and personal, I have not had too many successful interviews in the past.
My coach at TopInterview changed all of this. She was able to take my indecipherable ramblings, stop me, and condense the information I was giving her into a few key points to hit. I was totally amazed how I could freely speak about myself, keep my audience engaged, AND keep it short and simple!

Tip for consumers:
If you have a way to do videoconferencing, do it, it allows your coach to see your body language. It can be done over the phone, but video to video is much better. Also, come prepared with any interview questions you’ve had in the past that gave you trouble. The more time you spend, the more nuggets of wisdom you will pick up. Sessions move quickly!
If you choose the top level package, be sure to inquire about purchasing the salary negotiation. This is part of the reason you’re there!

You want to take full advantage of all the products they offer, because they are modest about their services and you almost have to beg them to give you more. Value every minute you have with your writer. Your phone conversation and your revisions are valuable; remember you are ultimately in charge. The writer will seek to understand you and translate that on to paper so employers with whom you’d fit the company culture can see what they see, too.
