I've had a frame sitting in a drawer waiting for a new set of lenses in them for about five years. I'd done research into different lenses makers over the year and found a match with lensabl. I liked the website, it made it very easy to input my prescription. I liked that I could have a postage paid mailer sent to my house to whisk my frames away. And I got hooked with the offer of antifog lens coating for an additional $70 on top of the lens price.
I sent my frames off in October and tracked my package through the website with ease. As October became November I saw that my glasses said "5 to 7 days to completion" on the website. But weeks would go by without a word and I would check the website again and see the same notice, "5 to 7 days" I reached out and got put in touch with a member of the support team who then reached out to the team handling the lens coating, which was having the issues and creating the delay. Once they finally passed QC they sent them overnight back to me, which I appreciated because it was now mid December.
The antifog was amazing! The first few days. As time goes on I notice the antifog slowly diminishing in effectiveness.
All in all I will most likely use this service again if I get a pair of glasses I want lenses put in. But most likely will not pay for any coatings. They don't seem to last long.
