DO NOT BUY FROM TRIPLE C AUTO!
FULL REVIEW UP TO DATE 8/17/2020

The shifty salesman at Triple C auto that looked like Macklemore Sold me a Lemon!

I bought a GMC Sanoma 1998. Yes this is an old car, but when going over the vehicle I was told it had a new Transmission and it's under warranty. It had a check engine light on, Macklemore had me drive it to their chop-shop down the road to have it looked at. The guy clears the lite and says "oh its just a Transmission code he forgot to clear, it's no big deal I cleared it for you" So the check engine like is gone, until I get half way home. I called and visited the shop a few times with in 4 days, even spoke with the chop-shop lead. He tells me he will get with his Tranny guy and get back to me asap. That never happen. However this "warranty" is threw some shady 3rd party based out of OR?!

I Have had the truck now for 9 days, and I've only done basic shot distance driving on paved roads. I have been burning so much money into getting what this thing needs since I got it. I have now fixed the MAJOR oil leaks, new tires, Alignment, and more! So now I'm confident my truck's Tranny is in tiptop condition (via Macklemore's reassurance) and confident under the conditions with the amount of work I have had done to it, that it will make a small trip from Vancouver WA. To Seattle WA. And back.

Day 10: The Drive to Seattle the steering is kinda loose but thats about it, the truck can't get past 75 MPH without shaking and lose steering. At this point I know fixing the steering will be on me and that is fine. I have fixed everything else, so I will take the reins and get it done too. I make it to Seattle Cap Hill with out an major issues aside from steering.

On day 11 of having the truck, I go to move my Truck in the morning and No first or second gear. I made the hazardous trip journey in to a GMC Dealer in Kirkland to have it correctly looked at and assessed. They said it's showing TWO MAJOR TRANNY CODES. So now I'm stuck here because I can't very well drive it back like this, so I call the dealership Triple C Auto.
I tell them "You guys told me this Tranny was good and its under warranty, who is going to help me tow this truck now?". They had the disposition of "yea, call the Transmission guy, this is not our problem" So I called the Tranny guy. The Transmission guy can't speak English very well (Not a big Surprise) therefor not much is getting threw to this guy due to the language barrier. He tells me He can't come out till Wednesday... Wait, that? NO! I have to get back in town by Sunday night to work by Monday morning. So at this point I don't have many options. Number one, we have already established we are dealing with a shady Lemon sale, so I can pay to have it towed and he doesn't pay me back. Two, I can just roll the dice and Drive it back home from Seattle over night Saturday while there is a lot less traffic and over all danger. I have emptied the majority my funds fixing this Lemon, So I decide to drive it home over night. I make the trip having to manually put the truck into first gear, then second, ect, ect, when I had to dive in areas with stop and go traffic.

Day 12 Sunday. I call the transmission guy in the morning and I explained to him that I have driven the death trap back home to make this quicker and easier for all of us. He tells me "Okay, I will pick it up in the morning" I tell me okay great thank you and I will see you then.

Day 13 Monday. (TODAY) I clean out the car and I called to check in with him at 9am. Doesn't pick up and voicemail is full. Call again at 11am still no answer. I now call the Dealership Triple C Auto. They tell me they will call him. Shortly after that, oh look at that he is calling me back...
He is now telling me he will be here any time between 7pm and 8pm. I tell him "that doesn't work for me man I need this started on asap and picked up like you agreed to yesterday" NOW GET THIS, He tells me "don't worry just LEAVE THE KEY IN THE CAR AND I WILL PICK IT UP... Mind you I have no Idea who this guy is, where his shop is at, and what he looks like or if he is even a real Tranny mechanic... Uh no man I am using street parking I don't know what planet you are on but that's not how this works.

DO NOT BUY FROM TRIPLE C AUTO, Lot full of Lemons and shady Sales! Save yourself the headache and hardship take your money and business else where. You will be better off in the long run.
