I WAS an established customer, using same credit card. I cancelled an order of $21,000 due to APMEX demanding a proof of identity (holding my drivers license next to my face, front and back of drivers license and credit card). How insane! It's been 5 days and they have not released my Pending charge on my credit card after multiple emails and phone calls to do so! This is tying up my funds on my credit card! AX said the problem was them, they must release the charge! DO NOT waste your time or money with this company!
Tip for consumers:
Don’t think that because you are an established account spending thousands that it matters. They want more than you should have to provide to prove your identity!!
