I spent $950.00 for one of Sue Spargo's block of the month kits and came up short on one of the threads that was provided. I've sent numerous e-mails in an attempt to get the thread number so I could get it elsewhere since they no longer carry that thread. All they've provided is a substitute thread that is close based on what they currently sell. Why they can't simply provide me the actual Valdani thread number so I can buy it direct is beyond me. This is no way to treat a customer who spent that much money. It suggests that Sue Spargo is more interested in making money on what she does sell rather than satisfying customers. There were a couple of cases where the wool that she provided was just barely enough to cut out the pieces I needed. To say that they are extremely cheap in the amount of wool provided in some cases is putting it mildly. When you don't even have 1/8th of an inch to spare I'd call that cheap!

If you get into more than one of her blocks of the month quilt kits, beware, because she loves to make you buy at least 90% new thread, thus increasing her, already huge, supply of income.

I love her designs and have had much pleasure working on her kits, but beware if you need anything extra from them, especially customer service.
