I requested a return of 2 women's tops because they fit snuggly. In the return ticket I stated the items were too small, I received an email telling me this (see below) and included what should be the measurements of both shirts along with instructions on how to measure them, take photos and how to upload to send as proof the items were sized wrong. After reading the last sentence, I knew the return shipping would be more than the cost of both items. And decided to sell or give to friends.
"If the measurements you received is any different from what we stated above, please share the pictures to prove the issue.
Place the product on a flat surface and keep a measuring tape on the (Bust, Length, Waist) of the item and clicking pictures which clearly shows the reading on the tape.
Also provide a picture of the size tag.
If the issue is determined and verified we will take full responsibility and provide you with a replacement/refund.
If the measurement is as advertised you can return the item for and exchange/refund at your own costs"
I do not feel I should have to prove anything, the items were unworn and I requested the return within an hour of receiving them. Will not purchase anything from the site again. The only reason for the 1star is I received the items in a decent amount of time.

As our size chart is not your local standards, we state specific measurements on the product pages in order to help you choose the best fitting size. While if you just pick normal size without refer to the measurements, the clothes are always go small. We appreciate your kind understanding in advance.
We respect your decision not to return this order. But I can also fully understand your frustration. In order to reduce your disappointment, I applied for some new solutions for your consideration:
1. We'd like to refund you 30% products' price which is USD8.99 as a discount to keep the products.
2. Or if you can firstly help us change the rating on sitejabber to 4-5 stars or just remove the review, I will apply for a Direct Full Refund of order price USD 38.76 to our financial manager for you as compensation. You may keep the T-shirts as Free Gifts from us and may give them to your friends who will fit for them. It is a Special offer for you. Would you like to accept it? I will process the full refund as soon as I see the review is changed or removed.

I have considered my options and have decided that I'll change my review when Lightinthebox changes its return policy. The return address on the packaging I received was located in the United States. THAT is where our returns should go, with shipping charged to the customer accordingly. Your company knows darn well that people will not return merchandise if shipping is too expensive. It's a shady thing to do and I will be sure to inform EVERY PERSON I KNOW how your company works.
