2/17/24

Came in here at 8:30 PM on 2/17/24 and asked for some robinair high vacuum pump oil. The website said it was in stock, having previously purchased it here as well I knew it was in the back. So, I asked the employee if he could go grab 25 bottles for me. He comes back a in about 30 seconds and says it's out of stock. I pull up the website and show him that it indicates that they do have it in stock. The guy actually won't go look again just flat out says they don't have any, basically to go pound salt,
25 bottles while not the most massive sale in the world at $20 a bottle its nothing to scoff at.
So, I leave and get in my car to go to the Snohomish location that also says they have it in stock. As I drive there I call and ask if they have it in stock. The guy on the phone says let me go check. Comes back and says I don't think we have it. I am like for real for real. So now two stores that say they have it in stock are both out of stock I highly doubt it. It's not like high vacuum pump oil is a hot commodity,

I wasn't going to be dissuaded from my mission so easily so i continued on to Snohomish. As I knew they had it, so I went up in the store and whipped out my cellphone with the page pulled up and said you all carry this see in stock at this location. Get on your computer I'll provide you the part number you'll see.
Enters it in looks at me, and then heads to the back and comes back with my bottle of pump oil. I only ended up buying one because of the hassle I am going to order the rest off of the internet. Your loss O'Reilly you should really work on training your people on how to find products and not just go give a cursory look and say well we don't have it. I shouldn't have to pull out my phone and make them search the part number they should pull up the website on their own and search for high vacuum pump oil to see if they have it,

Shameful display of customer service at both stores Monroe and Snohomish, but at leas

Every time I go to O'reilly to buy vacuum pump oil it is a fight none of the employees know they sell or know where it is in the back it is ridiculous. It typically takes me at minimum 25-30 minutes of arguing with the employee that they do in fact carry it. I usually have to pull out my cellphone show them their web page and give them the part number and it typically takes 10 minutes for them to find it but it usually happens.
