I participated in a video recording study with them on August 10,2022. It is now November 14 and they have yet to pay me for my efforts. Half of my emails to them are left unanswered, the other half of the replies always says the same thing: we got too many payments to go through, soon we will pay. In this day and age it really boggles my mind how a company cannot manage its payments when there are so many tools out there like PayPal, Venmo etc. Oh another thing, they make the payment via bank transfer (if they ever make it!) I have been extremely disappointed with them.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother. They won't pay you.

UserTesting doesn't provide a way to appeal a 1 star review. It lets companies rate testers but doesn't let testers rate companies. Many times I provide excellent feedback for the clients, which they themselves say so and thank me a lot at the end of the session but I rarely see this reflected on my star ratings because UserTesting doesn't make it compulsory for clients to leave a rating. Then comes one client who leaves a one star feedback which messes up my whole ratings. It is unfair that many times we give great feedback and don't get a rating and then one bad rating messes up everything. If UserTesting really wants to assess the tester's ability and get the real rating, they should make it compulsory for clients to leave rating for every test. Otherwise, one bad rating easily messes up a tester's score. And UserTesting should provide a way for the tester to appeal a bad rating. As it is right now, UserTesting is heavily tilted towards the client and doesn't give a good support to its testers.

Somehow I got in their mailing list, I don't know how. But that doesn't matter. What matters is, they don't provide an unsubscribe link on their emails. When I reply back to their email and ask to be unsubscribed, they never respond. When I contact them through the online chat on their website and their support email address, they don't respond. I can't take this company seriously if they will never respond.

Supersight Media acted as the project manager for a project I participated in for Appen. I have done my part for the project on time but Supersight Media hasn't made the payment for months. I followed up with them MULTIPLE times over the course of last 3 months. First they couldn't even tell if the client received my submission successfully. Then they stopped responding to my emails. Finally they told me after 3 months that the submissions were not received. Have they been a good project management company, they could have figured this out early on, followed up with me, and make sure we are both successful. But they are lacking in project management skills, customer services skills and promptness. Our correspondence was over email and text messages but it felt like I was calling a company who would put the elevator music on and make me wait for hours, that is how bad their responsiveness is. I'm sorry for Appen that they chose this company to handle their project. I know I would not.

They have buggy algorithms flagging you inappropriately. I am tired of dealing with their customer service. It is not worth the effort. Their technology is way behind.
