Some friends and I were traveling to Panama City Beach and stopped for ice cream at 9375 Emerald Coast Parkway. We noticed Mountain High Outfitters had clearance and sale items out front. The shoes were posted 20% off and the baskets all had same sign saying all swimsuits $20, all sales final. In the baskets were swimsuit pieces and one piece suits. Swimsuit shorts were in all baskets, all sizes. As we were unable to see the prices as they were being rung up, it was only after our transactions were completed we noticed we were charged $29.50 instead of the posted $20. When we showed her our receipts and questioned why were were overcharged, the cashier rudely told us the regular price is $59 and $29.50 is sale price and all sales are final. We were not wanting to return the shorts, we wanted the $9.50 plus tax to be credited to the credit cards. Her answer, there is nothing she could do. We asked for the manager and were told he was on break. Again, we have to ask when will he be back and were told 1:30 (it was 12:28 when we first checked out). We returned at 1:30 and instead of apologizing and correcting the over charge, he states all sales are final. He also said a customer could have put them in the basket. I quickly said the there was multiple pairs in all sizes in the baskets. Additionally, the shorts had the swimsuit liner placed in all swimsuits. Finally, and after much discussion, we were issued at credit card credit of $10.17 each.
First and only shopping experience I will have with Mountain High Outfitters!
