There aren't as many users, especially active users on this site as on others. I am still being contacted by men outside the U.S. even though I changed my settings.

We're glad to see you were able to join for an inexpensive membership to correspond with someone who is interested in getting to know you.

Our site is designed to help bring Christian singles together, so you may receive mail from members who don't live in the U.S. But there are some things you can do to help improve your chances of connecting locally.

1. We see you've updated your Profile Visibility Filter to just men in the US. However, as specified on that page, this ensures that anyone outside those demographics who runs a *search* will not see you in their results.

2. They may see you in other places on the site but you can update your profile to more clearly indicate what regions you're seeking matches. At present, your profile doesn't mention your regional preferences at all.
Anyone who writes after you've updated your profile can be politely told you're seeking someone closer to home, as stated in your profile.

3. The best way to connect with members who interest you is to write them! Please go to your search page, https://www.christiancafe.com/search
Run your search and click on a username to view that profile. Then use the green "Send Mail" button on their profile to introduce yourself. The more people you write, the better your chances of connecting with someone special!
