I love reading reviews, especially before I buy a product or from a business I've never patroned before. I also love to write them when a product or business exceeds my expectations or leaves me greatly disappointed. My reviews are honest and based on only my experiences. I own them. I try to be as detailed as I can be with what I experience and I'm not biased. It doesn't make much sense to write a dishonest review. I like to be informed, therefore I like to inform people in return.
I buy and test a lot of make-up and skin products. I belong to several Home Tester programs where I try samples and full sized products for my honest reviews. I am also currently with over 25 survey panels and I know a little something about many of these panels, including how they work, minimum withdrawals, quality of their customer support, if it's worth your time or not. I have been doing these for many years and many have come and gone and many stick around.

About 5-6 months ago, I participated in a 6-week study about Liquor. Installed their program so they could track anything I did related to Liquor online, completed on average 3 surveys (diaries) per week and put a lot of time and thought into my feedback. They tell you you will get paid 4-6 weeks after the study ends and they will contact you ASAP if there will be any delays. They never contacted me & it wasn't easy trying to get ahold of them but I did and two weeks later they replied they were having technical issues and I would get it as soon as it was fixed. That was back in September. In September I participated in their Potato Chip study-same deal. Then I started their Cracker study and not even a week into it, I quit. I'm still waiting to be compansated for the last two. And they do take quite a bit of your time. I don't think I'll ever get what I earned with them. I'm adding a pic of what I earned on the Liquor Study website and the email communications with dates. From my experience, I wouldn't join another one of their studies. Lesson learned.
Tip for consumers:
They ask you to install a program on your PC that tracks your activity related to the study you're participating in. You have to keep it on your PC for the full six weeks. Once the study is over, you can remove it. I had some issues with it on the 3rd study I joined. Every day a message would pop up on my screen that there was a setup issue with the Reality Meter. When I clicked it, it would take me to the Microsot store wanting me to add the extension to Chrome and it already was. So I quit.
I have been with Crowdtap for at least a year and I hae been enjoying taking their surveys. I wouldn't even call them surveys, they're more like questionairres about you. No one knows you better than yourself so just answer all the questions honestly and it will be a breeze. Because the questions will be repeated many times down the road to test your honesty. You will get a board with different colored squares worth different point values and on different topics. You only need 1000 points to cash out a $5 gift card, which I average about once a week. And that's only visiting the site every 2-3 days for 30-60 minutes to clear as many squares that are made available to me as I can. There's nothing complicated about it. It's real easy, laid back and enjoyable. You usually get your redemption the same day or next day. I belong to a lot of survey panels and this is one I really look forward to. It's a nice change of pace.

This is a great way to earn gift cards to a lot of major companies. It's quick, easy and painless. Dare I say rather enjoyable?
