Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value.
Never met or dealt with a more unprofessional ignorant disrespectful HVAC company owner in my life. I've been in the business for 15 years and never treated anybody or talk to anybody like Harold Irving owner of Irving air. Installed a new unit 7 months ago with a 10-year parts warranty, already had a freon leak, took about 5 days for someone to finally come out and fix it while my home was 91° for at least 3 days and Harold Irving tried to diagnose it over the phone telling me "a critter chewed a wire underneath my home most likely" that's why my compressor is all Frozen and all the lines. Harold Irvin came out and fixed it but I had to tell him to put his gauges on it to check the freon that it was low on Freon that's why it was all frozen and not cooling the home. Harold Irving left and sent me a text message with a service call fee of $99 which I ignored and never paid since my unit was only 5-6 months old at the time and still under warranty.
About 2 months later, had a cold spell and I went to turn the thermostat from cool to heat and it would not work, no heat. Called the owner Harold Irving told him I had no heat, and he diagnosed it over the phone again as it being my "thermostat or a critter must have chewed a wire under your house" story again. Harold Irving came out the next day after I asked him if he could please come out and look at it. Harold Irving came out and tested the thermostat and told me my thermostat was bad. He charged me a $99 service call fee which I paid. The next day I started playing around with my thermostat and went into the menu and got the heat to work. The heat never worked from day one when he installed the unit with a 10-year warranty. But Harold Irvin charged me $99 for a service call for something that should have been working when he installed it on day one. Harold did not want to give me my money back after I called him and told him my thermostat was working fine, that they just didn't have it set up right and he told me it was my problem my thermostat. I also told him I was in the business and I never left a home after installing a new unit without the cooling and heating working, NEVER. You don't install a new unit and leave the home and take payment when you did not finish the job and everything is not working correctly. I told Harold this and he laughed and said" try telling my employees that." Now I know why Harold Irving and his installers sat at my kitchen table going through my thermostat booklet because they couldn't figure out how to set up the thermostat, this is the same thermostat I had for the old unit they removed and the heat and cooling worked fine for 8 years never had a problem. So Harold Irving who brags about being in business for 26 years installed the new unit 7 months ago and left without the heat working and he's telling me it's my problem and I have to pay the $99 service call fee for him to come out and tell me my thermostat isn't working when it was working fine. Harold Irving didn't know how to set up the thermostat in the menu correctly even being in business for 26 years could not figure this out.
Called my bank to dispute the charge on my credit card, told them what happened and this is under a 10-year warranty and they gave me my money back in 3 days. The bank agreed with me, Harold Irving from Irving air should not have charged me the service call fee. Harold Irving found out and called me a couple days later and left nasty messages on my phone and when I did finally call him back and talk to him the only words out of his mouth were you're a " f***ing a hole and you're never getting any warranty work out of me " and he hung up on me. 0 customer service and people skills. Read his reviews, a few of his bad reviews he says "they're not his customers", He lies and he rips people off, that's what he has been doing for 26 years.
Don't waste your time or money with this company they don't back up any of their work and they do sloppy work. I have pictures of their install job and invoice to prove I'm his customer. Also see the attached pictures of the sloppy install job, spray foam all over my house dripping down the side of the new AC unit they installed, they should have built a new metal trunk to fit the opening of my house not use a used one from another job, wiring is all on the ground thermostat and 220 volt line, very dangerous and not code, they should be attached to the side of the unit off the ground with metal clips. And the white drain pipe in the lower corner of the unit is a foot long, they're only supposed to be a couple inches sticking out of the unit, too lazy to cut the pipe down, it's been tripped over stepped on and cracked because of this.

If I could give them zero Stars I would, not even worth one star! I've had this plan for a few years now and have had problems since day one, 99% of the time that I've tried to do mail order it rarely comes on time before I run out of my medication and they even canceled my orders a couple times without notifying me by phone, email or mail. The reason for canceling my orders a supervisor told me was because I never gave them permission to contact me by email or phone and they needed more information from my doctor even having refills open on the order, but they never try to contact my doctor or me and they just canceled them, how crazy is that? That they can't even contact me by phone or email because I never gave them permission! I've never ever heard of that in my life! How about sending me a letter in the mail! I just happened to call after not receiving my medications when they told me when I would get them so I would call and ask them where my medication is and what's going on in a few times they told me they canceled the order. And when I tried to talk to a supervisor about this she was very ignorant and argumentative with me and interrupting me not listening to what I had to say or what my problem was, the supervisor I thought could care less and was defending what they did to me not once but several times. Having cancer you have to have your medication you can't miss doses and take the medicine whenever you want they are very unreliable the worst I've ever dealt with, terrible terrible customer service, I would never recommend them to anybody there's so many more out there, do your homework and stay away from silver scripts or Aetna which I believe they call themselves now. 0 stars!
