Have always had problems with FedEx deliveries. FedEx lets their drivers decide where to leave packages...they may be left at your front door, maybe on the side of the house, maybe in the back of your house...wherever the driver feels like leaving them. This time the driver decided to leave the package in the middle of the driveway, even though it rained the entire day which resulted in a soggy package. When I tried to complain to FedEx, I was told by their clerk at the FedEx distribution center that the driver decides where to leave the packages, and the customer can't specify where they want theor packages delivered (like maybe the front door?). I would like never to have anything to do with FedEx again.

Unfortunately this company obtained my email address. Apparently, they use spamming companies to bombard email lists with spam emails day in and day out. Sadly, my email happens to be on their spam attack list. Since Dec 2022 I continually get spammed every day. I complained to the BBB. Erie Home promised to take me off of their spam list but they continue to bombard me each day with spam. Attached is a snapshot of their typical spam...you will notice that the "from" address, as well as, the links in the email show non-descript website addresses. So it looks like the spammers are doing the marketing for Erie. And you can't unsubscribe to the spam, and the phone numbers are to their sales office and no one calls you back. After filing repeated complaints with the BBB, in frustration, their rep told me they can't do anything to stop them. They told me to contact the Fed Trade Comm (FTC) as a last resort. I'm going to do that, but I thought I would share this experience with other consumers. Don't know about the work they do if hired, however, I would never do business with a company that refuses to respect a consumer who simply asks to have their name removed from the Erie Home spam list. Think about it, if they won't do something this simple for a potential future customer, can you imagine if you had a problem after you hired them to do work? The bottom line = there are so many companies that offer these services and do not torture customers with unwanted marketing spam.

Drain clog onSamsung refrig. Tech says job will take 60mins to clear but wants $330. Threw him out!

Tip for consumers:
Sears Home Service plays a game with their service. They are intent on selling you an annual warranty if you don't already have one and just asked for one-time service on an appliance in your home. Their service techs are taught to give an exorbitant estimate for a repair (I got a quote for $330 for a 1 hour repair that didn't require any parts, just labor). After that the tech will try to sell an annual warranty. When looking for service, ask if the co sells annual warranty. If so, move on!
