Have been a Parts Express customer since the 1980's. At one time, I could order early one day and have the merchandise the next day via UPS. Things have certainly changed. Their offer of "free shipping" for a minimum order (currently $49) does not include the disclaimer "we let your box sit until we get around to actually shipping it. On my most recent order entered on a Friday morning, I got a receipt and USPS tracking number that day. The package didn't start moving until Tuesday of the following week. Similar delay experiences on two previous orders. I suppose it's their way of pushing you to pay for shipping anyway which, I'm sure, improves their bottom line. 5-6 days Springboro to Akron is ridiculous when most of it is spent on their loading dock.
