I attempted to sell tickets that I could no longer use via this website. They advertised my tickets on their website and took my bank details. They then contacted me via e-mail to say that they had found a buyer and I had to ring their 'hot line'. They said that the funds for the tickets from the 'buyer' plus their commission had been deposuted in globalticketmarket.com bank account and that I should send the tickets to what looked like a regular residential address by registered post. They gave me a tracking number and then told me that the funds outstanding to me would be deposited in my bank up to 72hrs after the event (to protect the buyer against the possibility of forgery). This didn't happen, the phone numbers are no longer answered and I have read elsewhere that many other people are in the same situation. The company did appear to be genuine, the website was very professional but I have been a mug. I appreciate that I will not get a lot of sympathy for attempting to sell on tickets but in the hope that nobody else falls for this con, I am posting this. The address they asked me to send the tickets too was Mr Michael Parmasivan, 84A Portland Road, Norwood Junction, London SE25 4PQ. Globalticketmarket.com is a scam, please don't be as gullible as I was.
