When I went to checkout my packages, I found out that their shipping cost was $500 - $1000 for items that cost around $200 and $80. I abandoned those items and I don't even know if it's a scam because I will never use this website again.

As per our check shipping rate is high because you have a Computer LCD in this shipment which has increased the dimensions of your shipment. We can split the shipment at our end and can create 2 separate shipments in this way you can ship both items separately.
