Scam.
Please avoid.
They stole my product and never delivered. All they did was come up with drummed up Customs charges based on an over 500% overestimation of the value of my item.
Absolute frauds here, and they will confiscate your products if it's valuable and use it for themselves.
Please avoid. You were warned.
When you read their reviews on Trustpilot you'll see that literally none of their customers has anything good to say about them.
They CANNOT be trusted, and will NOT deliver your item, I made the gross mistake of transacting with them.
I have two shipments I sought to forward through them. I have lost money, and did not receive my product.
You should AVOID their parent company, Aramex, all subsidiaries like ShopandShip, and any and all of their affiliate companies.

You get exposed to a lot of harmful behaviour from clients when working through Upwork.
All I get from the site is clients asking for free work. What is utterly disgraceful is they you refuse to take down the job so I can get my connects back when I report it. Basically, on Upwork, I pay to get insulted with requests for free work, and get absolutely no remedy of any sort.

I lost work, time and money.

Upwork, stop turning a blind eye to the free work problem on your site.
The mere fact of asking me to work for free is extremely harmful, abusive behaviour.
I expect more than just being told "Action was taken" when you actually did nothing and I won't get my connects back so I can apply to real opportunities out there. It sucks when you allow pecuniary gain take utmost precedence when reviewing and taking action on clients exhibiting harmful behaviour.

These guys scammed me.
I was hired by one Ruth Bingham-Hamilton of Canvas8, for whom I delivered the work as agreed, but she felt she could have her cake and eat it.
On no account do I recommend you do business with them.
They use slave labour and abuse their workers. Here are the audio I was hired to provide a transcription-translation for on February 14,2020. They were focus group interviews conducted, I believe, by Canvas8.

Even though the audio was of rather bad quality in many areas with A LOT of dropped-off sentences, false starts, indistinct talk and unintelligible overlap of speech from different speakers, I managed to provide very high quality transcripts and translations. After what was over a week of gruelling work on this, all I got was an ungrateful contact-person in their company tip-toeing her way around not paying me, for work that I had completed!

I found the conduct of my contact-person at Canvas8 to be highly disgraceful and indeed representative of the company as a whole. On the basis of my experience with them, I do not recommend you do business with Canvas8.
