I made a reservation on May 14th for 2 nights 5/25 and 5/26 to go to a funeral. During the reservation the site advised me to apply for booking protection since the reservation is non-refundable, Therefore insurance was added.

Because it was memorial week/end, I could not get the time off. I cancelled the reservation and what Hotels.com did they cancelled both the reservation and the booking insurance, They refunded the insurance money and when the credit card contacted them they refused to refund the booking fee.

I posted some renovation to be done in my bathrooms in March 2023. A guy from Suni Corporation which is affiliated with Angi answered the call and came into my house. He showed me pictures confirming that he can do the job. When he started the work he brought two Russian helpers with him. They started the work on a Thursday, they did Friday and Saturday. They wanted to come back on Sunday and I told them no because I go to Church that day. That same Sunday I noticed that some of my jewelry were missing. I call the guy to let him know because no one comes to my house and this is where the pieces of jewelry have always been placed. He told me he can swear this was not done by the guys. I felt sorry for him because I thought he was a foreigner trying to make a living. He let the suspected robber go and I let him finish the work. He uses cheap material and within a week I realized that the work was falling apart I called him and texted him it took him almost 2 weeks to call me back. He told me he had a car issue and when he gets the part for the car and it's fixed he will come to fix the problem. After another week of not hearing from him, I called Angi and when they got in touch with him it happened that he is in Florida vacationing when he told me that he has a car problem. I have been a victim, this guy brought extra Russian in order to steal for him while they are pretending to work together. Please hire a contractor for your home improvement. Do not go on Angi some of these people they are not legit you do not know who you are letting into your home. PLEASE HIRE A CONTRACTOR, IT MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE

Description of Complaint:
I had some work done in my house in October of 2021 and my contractor got me a loan from Medallion Bank at a rate of 7.49. I told him that I'd never paid such a high-interest rate on any loan or credit card. He told me that I can repay the bank anyhow I have to in order to avoid paying too much interest and that there is no pre-payment penalty. Last November I sent an extra payment of $******* and there was a fee of $ 200 which was deducted from the extra payment. For the past 2 months, last January and February I sent an extra $526 each time $160 was deducted from the extra payment. I have dealt with bank loans before I always understand that any extra payment towards the loan would be applied to the principal amount. I called the bank and I was told that there is a $5 daily fee towards both your monthly payment and the extra payment. This is an organized robbery. I spoke to a representative and I said to her that even if $5 dollars/day would apply, a month has 30-31 days how come I was charged $200 on the $*******? I posting this review so that people who are dealing with this bank may check their statements because you may be charged unnecessary fees

There is a scam going on between Turbotax Intuit this year and Credit Karma. Instead of asking IRS TO send your money to your personal account, your money goes to Credit Karma and you get notified about the money 2 days later, by the time you transfer the money into your account it takes another 2-3 days business days for the money to clear, a total of 4-5 days delay while your money could have been deposited directly into your account. Please find another tax company, I have been a victim and I do not you to be one
