jigsawplanet.com is so great! It is a FREE site for working jigsaw puzzles online, and NO ADS on the site. It couldn't be any more user friendly. You can make your puzzles anywhere from 4 to 300 pieces from any of your own photos. There are 8 choices for puzzle piece shapes. There is an option for all pieces to be right side up, so there's no turning around upside down pieces.

jigsawplanet.com also gives you the option of creating albums in which to store your puzzles. Your photos cannot be saved by anyone, so there's good security for your original photos. Your puzzles are automatically saved if you don't finish one. You can add tags if desired.

There are 5 easy steps to creating your own puzzle.

Select Create at top of page
Browse for image
Slide bar for selecting number of pieces
Select shape of pieces
Click on Create at the bottom.

You can also work puzzles made by others. The puzzles do not have the creator's name, so it is all anonymous.

I am not affiliated with jigsawplanet.com in any way. I would just love others to discover the hours of joy and fun I've had on the free and ad free site.

Viewbug has no concern for it's members. When the site was free, it was much better because there was no limit on anything. I created 140 groups. Now each member is limited to 3 groups. Contest prizes used to be as much as $500. Now you received t-shirts and worthless stuff instead. On rare occasion there may be a prize of 50 or 100 dollars. There are at least 250,000 entries. Most winning photos are horrible, the results of unskilled photographers, and/or just downright nothing.

For those of you that are new to the site, and think it's so good, just give it time. Many of my friends thought it was great at first. Now they are on other sites that are at least honest and don't draw winning contest photos out of an electronic hat. Seriously, anyone would know 300,000 photos are not going to all be looked at.

As a general rule I'm very positive, and am a happy person. However, it has been a nightmare the way Viewbug has ignored problems and ignored members. About 100 of my friends are more than disenchanted with the site. Most of them have awesome photos yet never win contests or have a photo featured. I'm doing this for them. Many have had to block other members that harassed them. They can at least feel some consolation that a friend is telling the truth about Viewbug.

A free site that focuses on selling your photos is RedBubble. If you hope to sell your photos on Viewbug, it is unlikely it will happen. Out of 300 Viewbug friends, 2 have sold one photo each. Viewbug focuses on getting the $60 membership. Everything else is secondary.

I've been a member of Viewbug over two years. Some photos are great, but many are as bad as they get. Viewbug was pretty good when it was free. Once they began charging the $60 membership, it began rolling downhill like a rock. Viewbug did not allow pornography, but now appears to condone it, which has driven a multitude of members away.

Contests rarely have cash prizes anymore. It's cheap stuff like Viewbug t-shirts, camera straps, etc. Worst of all, most winning photos range from no good to really bad.

There are no instructions. I've spent many hours teaching new members how to get around in Viewbug. Viewbug patronizes by saying they will come up with instructions. They began promising this over a year ago. Truth be known, it is the most secretive site I have ever seen. Viewbug sneaks in changes to benefit themselves.

One positive thing I can say about the site is most members are nice. I've made over 300 friends on the site. Many have complaints, but have already paid their membership fee. Some leave anyway.

It would be wonderful if I could brag on Viewbug. Sadly, in all honestly I cannot. Would not recommend.
