The card could not be checked on their website right after opening, and attempting to use it was either declined or rejected. Calling in I was on hold for a long time before talking to a person who assured me that it was being blocked for my protection from a fraudulent merchant, but of course I had literally just opened it and it was rejected right away. They are re-issuing me a card (taking 14-21 business days to arrive), but though they assured me that new one would work fine, it never actually explained how the new one would not be any different so this would not happen again.
