I currently live in Texas and have family all offer the Chicago area. Some of them have their act together, some of them do not, as all families do. A family member who lived in Antioch passed and left behind a house and assorted debts. Being in Texas, it was hard to work on things from here. I wanted to unload the house and settle the debts. I'd heard about the We Buy Ugly Houses folks and inquired. I dealt with Alan, and they made a reasonable offer on the house, which we accepted. Alan was professional and helped us wrap up the issue quickly.
