Bought a GMC Sierra, opted not to get a warranty as I am mechanically inclined and vehicles are what I have worked on for a living for the most of my 50 years. It was bought on Friday, Monday rolls around ( Labor Day) and I have to charge battery. Assumed I had left something on. Happened again the following Thursday. Had to charge it Friday night to get to work and again to get home. Went to the dealership first thing Monday morning and explained the situation. The sales manager started off with an out and out lie, stating the sales manager the set the deal up was not in yet and if he approved a battery replacement, that would be money coming out of the absent man's pocket. He also said there wasn't a whole lot of room for something like that as they didn't make a lot of money off the deal. The sales manager is a f&%$ing liar. I never haggled, they stated the price and I signed to it. As quick as the battery went dead, I could envision them telling me that I was on my own if it would have happened two minutes after signing papers. Screw you Landers! I wouldn't buy another vehicle from you to save my mother's life. Your salesman, Jarvis, said to me, and I quote, " You know, if something happens immediately, they're pretty good people, they'll help you out". Now he's either a liar too or Landers is making him one. Ya'll suck!
