Verified site experience

You have simplified your order process to make it more efficient, which I appreciate.

Reason I chose this business:

You carry topnotch products

Reason I chose this product:

Same reason as above

  • Village Hat Shop

4/2/19

On its website, in BANNER headline (pun intended) are the words: FREE SHIPPING.
No 'conditions' for this service are mentioned. When you attempt to order and follow
Their directions for checking out, you are automatically charged $ 8.95 for ground
Shipping. There is NO provision for claiming the promised free service, nor is it even made possible for the prospective customer to cancel the order.

  • Country Inn & Suites by Radisson

1/25/19

On December 7,2018, as a surprise Christmas gift for my family, I booked a stay at the Radisson Country Inn and Suites in Williamsburg, Virginia. The reservation
Was for three rooms for two days. The rate I agreed to was for $123.49 per room.

When I received my bank's itemized financial statement, I learned that I was ACTUALLY charged an outrageous $ 280.60 per room. That represented a 37 +% added cost per room that I was legally obligated to pay (because of the 'agreement' each guest must sign!)

Because of this experience, I would suggest that any future guest thinking about
Staying at a Radisson Hotel exercise the caveat emptor principle before signing on.

  • Comenity

7/28/18

There are usually good reasons when a business fails to earn accreditation:
Comenity is a prime example. Its sleazy practices factor precludes any chance
The naive consumer has for expecting ethical treatment. What compounds the
Problem is its penchant for hiding behind the reputation of well-known companies (e.g. Williams Sonoma) who offer Visa credit cards in their names
That are managed by Comenity Bank and subject to its mafia-like fine print policies. How this company continues to operate needs to be seriously investigated by federal authorities.

  • Thrive Market

6/22/18

I have never seen published rating statistics for online "organically"
Oriented companies, but if there is a sleaziest category, my money
(based on my unspeakable experience with Thrive Market) would be on this California company. (If only I had read the Sitejabber reviews...)

Thrive M. – Thrive Market Rep

Hi Jeanne- I'm sorry to hear you did not have a great experience with us. I'll be sending you a private message to gather more insight into where we may have disappointed you.

  • Bizrate

9/1/17

Bizrate employs the 'bait and switch' tactic to lure consumers into divulging per-
Sonal/financial information (which is ILLEGAL). Furthermore, the website offers NO WAY to cancel the swindle on the website once the consumer realizes the
Ruse --- which is a violation of the consumer protection laws.
